3rd Grade Activities
- Students are no longer learning how to read, but they are reading! This opens up a lot of opportunities for increased vocabulary, knowledge, and more time to dive deeper into other skills. Third graders are also able to work cooperatively on group projects and demonstrate increasing organization and logical thinking.
- Write a neat, one-page opinion paper, report, or story with a clear introduction and a conclusion. They can even begin to type their papers and edit for spelling and punctuation errors too.
- While diving into more complex numbers to add and subtract that are three-digit, they will also begin to multiply and divide! Use multiplication flashcards pdf and division flashcardsto get lots of practice to improve fluency. They can also tell time to the nearest minute
- Grade 3 kids will now the basic physical components of the earth, such as land forms, water, climate, weather, and planets too.
- Learn about Native Americans, early explorers, about colonial america, as well as famous figures in those time periods too!
